great access to parks and historical sites for weekend wanderers

I had a great experience with friendly staff and a cozy, warm room that made my stay comfortable. The hotel is just a short drive from Thomas Point Beach, perfect for a leisurely walk by the water, and almost 5 km from Bowdoin College where I enjoyed exploring history and architecture.

    local eats
    comfortable ac
    diy breakfast
    poor kitchenette
    worn bathroom

The local eats were a highlight! Found some killer spots for seafood and coffee around the corner. The breakfast setup was also great with DIY waffles, bagels, and fruits. And to top it all off, the AC in my room kept things cool and comfy!

But, oh boy, the kitchenette was a letdown—barely equipped for a proper cooking spree. The bathroom could use some serious sprucing up too, with noticeable wear. A little love would go a long way!

stayed at rodeway for a night and it was a pleasant surprise! the location was great, super easy to find. the room was clean and nice, with comfy beds that felt almost new. i loved having a table to do some writing work. the continental breakfast hit the spot, too.

the only downside was the tv didn’t work well, which was a bit disappointing.

    daily maid service

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained the grounds were. The accessibility features made it easy for me to navigate during my stay. The breakfast area was particularly inviting with a lovely ambiance.

A bit more attention to room cleaning would help.

    comfy room
    friendly breakfast
    non-working tv

Had a great time with friends during our stay! The hotel had free parking which was super convenient. We explored the Androscoggin Bicycle and Pedestrian Path and enjoyed some time at the nearby Pickard Theater. The room was comfy and clean, with a nice breakfast setup. A solid spot for a quick trip with friends!

Only issue was that the TV didn’t work well, which was a bummer since we wanted to relax with a movie after a long day.

Quaint Little Getaway with Comfort and Value

This charming motel had a nostalgic feel with updated furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast made mornings enjoyable. We especially loved the nearby seafood restaurants. A tip for future guests, check the AC settings to combat humidity. Overall, a delightful stay!

    adequate beds

    lacking cleanliness

    comfortable stay but needs improvements

The beds were adequate for a night's rest. The staff was promptly responsive when we requested extra towels. The room offered a decent amount of space and had a suitable layout for a couple.

The cleanliness of the common areas was lacking.
